VEYANO is an emerging Indian food brand dedicated to thoughtfully made roasted snacks. Our flagship collection focuses on slow-roasted makhana (fox nuts), and we are expanding into additional clean roasted snack categories.
Makhana (botanical name: Euryale ferox), commonly known as fox nuts or gorgon nuts, are the popped seeds of aquatic lotus plants harvested primarily in Bihar, India. They are naturally rich in plant protein, dietary fiber, and essential minerals like calcium and magnesium.
All VEYANO products are 100% hot-air roasted, never deep-fried. Our Classic Plain has 0% added oil, while our Salted and Peri-Peri variants use only a minimal cold-pressed rice bran oil mist (<1.5%) strictly for spice adhesion. We never use palm oil.
Makhana is naturally hygroscopic (it absorbs moisture from ambient air). Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. If your makhana softens in humid weather, simply toss it on a warm dry pan on low heat for 60 seconds to restore peak crunch.
VEYANO products have a shelf life of 6 Months from the date of packaging when kept sealed in original packaging away from direct heat and moisture.
We provide FREE Pan-India Delivery on all orders above ₹499. For orders below ₹499, a nominal standard shipping fee of ₹50 applies. Cash on Delivery (COD) carries an additional ₹79 handling fee charged by courier partners.
